Stage management for “Yamaguchi Future Sports Day 7 – Celebrating the Harvest of New Sports”

In charge of stage management for the event “Yamaguchi Future Sports Day 7 – Celebrating the Harvest of New Sports” held at Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM].

Based on the idea of “co-creating” new sports through teamwork, this entirely new type of “sports day” welcomes creators from Yamaguchi City that engage in the co-creation of sports from various different positions.

The program features a number of various events in which participants, grouped into teams, actually compete in newly developed sports that might – or might not – become a fixture in future sports meetings. Participants ranging from children to senior citizens are invited to come and harvest fresh new sports, at a meeting that is refreshingly different from the usual school or local community sports event.
